THE VINTAGE PIN-UP'S AUTUMN WARDROBE

The days are getting shorter, the air is getting cooler and no matter whether we like it or not, Autumn is knocking on our doors again.

Personally I love this time of year - I always feel full of life and love the changing colours of this season.
Also I love the fact that you can start wearing all your fab coats and shoes again - those that have been living in the back of your wardrobe for far too long.
Despite what you might think about autumn, I'm going to show you some fine examples of wardrobe essentials that will make you feel every inch a vintage pin-up. Some of you might find it hard to know what to look for so I am here to guide you in the right direction.

It's still very easy to look pin-up in autumn and winter - just wear your fave 40's or 50's dress, teamed with a cropped cardigan, opaque stockings, vintage-style heeled brogue shoes and then add a vintage-style coat and off you go...

A very pretty 40's-style tea dress by Hellbunny - I adore the emerald green colour - and ladies, the dress is called MAE WEST. (I know - how fab is that?)

Now for the perfect coat for any vintage lover out there... this coat by Banned will make you look like a pin-up dream, while getting on with your daily business, shopping, lunching, waiting for the bus, or going on a HOT date with your loved one - whatever you do, you will look good doing it!

It has a beautiful bow detail to the back and will take you in at the waist for a very feminine shape.

I LOVE love love shoes by Poetic Licence and these are the perfect vintage-style shoes for autumn - dress up with a pretty pencil skirt and top or dress down with high-waisted jeans and your favourite vintage-style cardigan.

So, as the nights draw in and the temperature drops, pour yourself a cup of tea and feel confident in knowing what to wear to look every inch the pin-up that you are.
